Downtown Autumn

Fall is the most beautiful time of year and the colors in these photos prove it.  I was filled with an over abundance of joy as I roamed downtown the other day taking in all of the beauty around me.  It was a tad cloudy all day but the sky cleared in perfect time to be able to snap a few photos of the setting sun  atop a parking garage roof.

Just Can't Get Enough

This outfit was a first timer for me.  I was skeptical of it at first because I hadn't worn my bowler hat in ages, but I'm actually a huge fan.  Admittedly, I have been listening to a lot of Depeche Mode today, so I think that may have been where my mind was when I was getting dressed.

Jump(Suit) For Joy!

So, I am a bit more than fashionably late to the jumpsuit party (pun intended) but I just couldn't get myself on board with the idea of a grown up onesie. It wasn't until I had been gifted one and wore  it to work to try it out that I became a believer. This jumpsuit is EASILY the most comfortable thing I own. So soft and roomy. The fact that it fits my work dress code is even better because I feel like I am going to work in my PJs but I actually look professional! Whoever invented these gets a gold star.

Jumpsuit - Thrifted and Gifted by Mom (shes my biggest fan)

Brown Baggin' It

I had some time to waste before seeing "Wish I Was Here" at the campus theater a few nights ago.  Since I don't go to the university, I wanted to roam the halls at night when nobody was around.  It kind of reminded me of an elementary school really.  It also smelled weird....
On a less stinky note, I have been using this little back pack a lot lately because I'm finding it is SO much more convenient than a hand bag.  I'm very much in love with it.

Burnin' Up

On one of my boyfriend/photographers (thanks again Josh!) random drives recently, we happened upon a park and museum that used to be a coal burning iron furnace in the 1800's.  It was so incredible! It looked like a castle that had been forgotten about. It was such a treat to stumble on to a little bit of history. Especially on such a beautiful day!
